Military Monday Oklahoma is an event organized by the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs (ODVA), the Oklahoma Department of Military, the Oklahoma National Guard, and the Oklahoma Veterans Foundation. It is held in collaboration with partners such as the Oklahoma Defense Industry Association, the Oklahoma Air and Space Forces Association, veteran service organizations and non-profits, defense partners, and various state agencies. This event is part of the state's tribute to active-duty service members and veterans in honor of National Military Appreciation Month. It celebrates Oklahoma’s defense industry, national security, military readiness, and the contributions of active-duty personnel and veterans who have helped pave the way for the next generation of American service members. What to Expect: Exhibit booths will be set up in the Capitol rotunda, featuring leading defense partners, military installations, and veterans service organizations that highlight Oklahoma's military strength. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with military leaders, service members, veterans, and policymakers to advocate for military personnel, veterans, veteran-owned businesses, and companies and institutions that support national defense. Participants can look forward to interactive sessions designed for change-makers, thinkers, and innovators, along with opportunities to engage with state legislators on policies impacting veterans and military affairs.
